Operational flow for multimodal transportation

● QC Business scope : 

Consigner should inform agent of full-truck or container transportation, departure station, destination country, arrival station, description and quantity of goods, estimated transportation time as well as client's name, phone number and contact person, etc.

 


● Fill in the railway international multimodal transport bundle: 

Purchase railway international multimodal transport bundle locally; International Department fills in the sample bundle and faxes to local company; relevant personnel of the local company fills in the formal railway international multimodal transport bundle, or International Department fabricates the bundle and mails to the local company.

 

● Transportation voucher : 

Consigner and agent confirm the quotation and agency relation. Consigner needs to entrust SK group in  writing: (1) forwarding order; (2) authorization letter for customs declaration; (3) authorization letter for inspection; (4) declaration  form and inspection form (affixed with special seal of the consigner); (5) contract; (6) packing list; (7) invoice; (8) inspection release permit; (9) verification sheet, etc.

 

● Customs declaration : 

Consigner should prepare the above vouchers and send them to the company designated by agent. Agent should arrange customs declaration for consigner at ports, including Manzhouli, Erenhot, Alataw Pass and Pingxiang, etc.

 

● Departure : 

According to notice on transportation plan, when goods are delivered for forwarding, consigner should also

carry such vouchers as declaration form, contract, packing list, invoice and customs cover to the port in case the goods are declared locally. If the goods are declared at the port, such vouchers as contract, packing list, invoice, declaration form and commodity inspection certificate should be mailed to the agent's agent at port. After goods are forwarded, the third copy of the freight note should be transferred to consigner.

 

● Voucher transfer: 

According to notice on transportation plan, when goods are delivered for forwarding, consigner should also carry such vouchers as declaration form, contract, packing list, invoice and customs cover to the port in case the goods are declared locally. If the goods are declared at the port, such vouchers as contract, packing list, invoice, declaration form and commodity inspection certificate should be mailed to the agent's agent at port. After goods are forwarded, the third copy of the freight note should be transferred to consigner.

 

● Takeover at port : 

After goods arrive at the port, formalities for customs transit and reloading should be gone through. After goods are reloaded to the foreign side's vehicle and forwarded, freight company should inform consigner of reloading time of the goods at the port and plate number of the foreign side's vehicle, etc.

 

● Notes returned to client : 

After goods are reloaded and taken over, customs will return verification sheet and verification copy of declaration form to SK group . If freight company is employed, SK group  will return freight to client according to the actual amount.

The information on goods on the authorization letter of goods consignment must be consistent with the information on actual forwarding and information on the freight note, especially product description, weight and volume, etc., or else it will result in non-consistence in freight and even penalty.
